COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS PROGRAM
This is a volunteer program that provides older men with the opportunity to benefit from individual peer support, to enhance social networks and gain a sense of belonging in the community.
It promotes the role of older men supporting older men in the community.
Who is eligible to receive this service?
- Men, 50 years or over
- who live within 25km of Toowoomba
- and experience loneliness or isolation
- or circumstances that are difficult to cope with
- or loss of social networks and
- who would appreciate having mates to yarn with.
